Overview of my Project

I want to take Coker's (Nigerian Concept Artist) idea of looking into his nigerian roots and delve into my italian roots. Looking into italian culture and art, in particular the Italian comedy and its masks; recreating them; modernising them, taking my own personal approach throughout the project. I want to achieve characters that could be used in a cartoon. 

( I want to have a try at this using photoshop, mudbox/zbrush, maya, sketchbook pro and sketches in general!)
